FAQ

  • Vendors

A few of our agricultural growers and food vendors are present every week, and we have part-time vendors as well. Check our Instagram for weekly updates to find out who will be at the market.

  • Hours

We run an early-bird market! The Japantown Farmer’s Market has operated with these hours for decades – and Gordon Biersch receives shipments after we close up, so c’mon down before noon!

  • Pets

Unfortunately, the California Department of Health (code 114259.5) does not allow pets at farmers’ markets, except working service animals. Emotional support animals are not recognized by the ADA, so may not be in the market. Sorry!

  • Parking

There is no parking on-site for the Japantown Farmer’s Market. Street parking is available.

  • EBT

We do not accept EBT. The Japantown Farmer’s Market is entirely volunteer-run, so we are unable to manage the administration of the EBT program.
